Yes, I went to Greece on an educational cruise of the Mediterranean when I was in high school. That was back before terrorism made such things impossible.

I don't get out nearly as much any more...sadly.

I saw a tin of Badger lip balm on Saturday and thought of you...

The pome on my blog was inspired by the noises BK was making as he buried his head in a bowl of blueberries in jelly...

I didn't buy it I'm afraid, as I was torn between the tins of lip balm, muscle rub and smoothing cream. All made by and featuring BADGERS!

Proof positive R'pus needs a blog.

And in one of those freaky little coincidences in life, one of the British places names I had to find out the pronounciation for for our latest play? - Aberystwyth - 100% FACT!

BTW - Scaryduck and Zoe already rule the world. Sometimes they let me steer. W00t!

Aberystwyth... I have a cousin who lives there.

Also, in 1998, I spent 10 days on a course near Cambridge, England. We ate dinner (and imbibed) at the only pub in the tiny village nearby. I later found out that said cousin from Aberystwyth used to live...

...right across the street from the pub.

Unbelievable.

Why the heck did you need to know how to pronounce Aberystwyth? Lovely place tho'.

Had to learn to prounounce it as it's said in the play we're beginning rehearsals for... tomorrow! Luckily, one of our actors is English and knows how to say it.

A-ber-ist'-wyth - em-pha'-sis on the 3rd syll-a'-ble, I was told.

And coincidences... they're just freaky.

I'm surprised anyone from England knows how to pronounce it... right em-pha'-sis though so well done to the person in question.

See if they can pronounce Lllanelli. Then try them on Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwrndobwllllantisiliogogogoch.

There might be a few typos in that one.
