See Kay Watt

One of my favourite scenes from one of my favourite shows.
But I still can't use the post function on YouTube. It went bust when I upgraded and I've not been able to get it to work since.
Help me, Obi Wan HTMLonobi. You're my only hope.
Also, notice the clarity of the video in this clip.

Thank you, DCveR!

Thanks to the brave, strong, handsome and HTML literate DCveR, I now have an actual graphic in the header.

Never mind

It was just missing a }

But does anyone know the magic words to type to insert a graphic in the header?

What the HTML?

Yeah, so I've maimed my blog. I just wanted to put a graphic in the header again and now it's all centred and weird and the side bar is a bottom bar and anyone know how I fix this?

A Stephen King moment.

So, I'm leaving my car and crossing my driveway to climb the steps to the front door when I hear a high-pitched whine... kind of a small motor kind. I look around... see nothing likely to be the source.

And then I see it. A small remote-controlled SUV is trundling down the middle of the street, seemingly on its own. It rolled on past the end of my driveway and down almost to the stop sign on the corner... and still no one in sight.

I was almost to the front door before I saw the kid walking down the sideway with the controller in his hand.

For a second there, I thought we were being invaded by very rich, very environmentally-UNconscious Lilliputians.

It's Oh So Quiet

Rainy. Foggy. No jumping kiddies. Bliss.

And in celebration?

Make the squeaking stop...

Would the never-ending aural torture of a squeaky trampoline being jumped on for hours on end right outside my window be a successful defence in court?

According to StatCounter's keyword analysis, 9.09% of viewers found me via a Google search using the terms "god damnit just get me the bear with the ladybug on it's face."

So that's nice.

But I gotta tell ya, it's a tough assignment. Using the slightly less aggressive, "teddy bear ladybug on face" search terms, I got... squat. Nadda. Nuffink. So my heart goes out to that 9% because those people? Have their job cut out for them.

Which leads me to question.... where is this bear with the ladybug on its face? I couldn't find it. I found lots of bears and even more ladybugs, including a ladybug with a ladybug on her... um... ladybits... but the best of all? These.

Me wants.*

P.S. - Was very nearly a juror for a murder trial today, but the defence counsel sent me packing.

No, I was not wearing ladybug clogs at the time.

Not that I wouldn't, mind you.

P.P.S. - The plumber showed up. The pipe she is fix-ed.

*Not really, but ain't they cute?

Quite a while back, I was tagged by Ricardipus. Life has finally calmed down to the point that I can even think about doing the meme.

Seven Random Things

  1. If the plumber, who I called on Friday and didn't show up as promised yesterday (Tuesday) doesn't show up tomorrow, I'm calling another one.

  2. Today, it finally got warm enough to feel like spring/summer.

  3. You can't make someone love you, you can only stalk them relentlessly and hope they give in.

  4. I wish dandelions were the fashion. If so, my front lawn would be cutting edge, horticulturally speaking.

  5. I just bought my first waffle maker and damn, am I liking it!

  6. This is the summer I finally de-clutter my house. Junk, anyone?

  7. That is all.

Tired. Very, very, very, very tired. Can't tell you why. Mustn't blog about work. Don't wanna get dooced. Or Petite Anglaise'd. So you'll just have to take my word for it.
