A meme

Pick up the book nearest you. Go to page 123. Find the 5th sentence and type the next 3 full sentences.

"For the rest of the wearisome journey, Royan remained silent and withdrawn, shaken and troubled by the conviction that she had seen the trademark of the winged red horse before, with, set above it in a pennant, the name of the company: 'PEGASUS EXPLORATION.'

As they approached the end of the day's journey at last they passed a signpost beside the track.

The supporting legs of the sign were solidly set in concrete."

The book closest to me at the moment only has 5 sentences on page 123. It's an illustrated book on how to create illuminated manuscripts. I'll find the next nearest one in a bit...

Confused? I certainly am, and I've taken to writing the best bits down, just to prove that I'm not dreaming about the 99p spiral-bound notebook I picked up from Wilkinsons.
This one's a cracker, word-for-word from the internal narrative, which survived Kubla Khan-style as I regained consciousness, face down and drooling on the sofa.

Ah, here we are:

3. Position the pointer directly over an endpoint, then draw an addition to it. When you release the mouse, the path will remain selected.

>If you end up with a separate path instead of an addition to an existing path, delete the new path and try again.

From Scholastic Treasury of Quotations for Children (I can't help it, it was the nearest book to me! Honest.) Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. Love your enemies. For me, to live without hate is easy, for I have never felt hate. To live without love I think is impossible, happily impossible, for each of us.

It's a bloody thesaurus. I really don't think it's worth doing, somehow.

The Uylenburghs are anxious about Titus. So they say. They're demanding that Titus's 20,000 florins be paid to the Chamber of Orphans, or else paid before the other debts.
