Tagged!

I have been tagged by Anna. I am to list seven songs I am into right now. I have to confess this is a tough one for me. I listen to music most of the hours that I am awake, so to name just seven songs is tricky. To complicate matters, I'm preparing to perform Mozart's Requiem at the end of this month, so am spending a disproportionately large amount of time listening to that and if I'm honest it's the only music I'm really "into" at the moment. Hmmm... so other than that, here are seven songs I am into:
  1. Tatooed - Damhnait Doyle
  2. En Filant Ma Quenouille - Madrigaia
  3. Ain't Too Proud to Beg - Temptations
  4. You Don't Know Me - Michael Bublé
  5. Good Enough - Sara McLachlan
  6. Simple - K. D. Lang
  7. Five Days in May - Blue Rodeo
List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if the are any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your blog along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they are listening to.

I tag seven of you! You know who you are...

I don't really dig much music above all others.

Dawn digs snow.

I couldn't identify Clodpaly's music if I tried. I'm sure I must have heard it, but wouldn't know them if I fell over them.

Who's JB?

No mentioning precipitation. I'm very sensitive on that topic right now.

OH! Blunt what's-it? Don't know who he is either. Mercifully he's not crossed the pond. Yet.

Mozart's Requiem is awesome. I should get it out and listen to it again. Many years ago I sang it in Columbia, SC's choral group. What a memory. And that makes me want to see the Amadeus movie again! So, thanks for the memory!

Blunt Alert! Blunt Alert!

Somehow he's managed to get a toe hold in the Canadian Arctic. One of my daughters has devoted her entire 80GB hard disk to just one track which she repeats over, and over, and . . .

Anna - Badger. That goes without saying... Also the Llama Song.

Ginnie - Anytime! Choral music is very rewarding, isn't it? I love singing in a choir. And it gives me an excuse to listen to classical music for hours other than just being a music geek.

TC - Ooo! One of my fav movies. "We're rockin' from the Delta to the DMZ!" Well, it was very tricky because I was restricted to seven. There are SO many artists whose music I love. I mostly stuck to Canadians as well. Gotta support the side, y'know.

Mr. Fab - Oh, please. I was never a Bobby Sherman fan. Come to think of it, I can't remember who I really liked back then, but it wasn't ol' Bob. Dylan maybe, but not Sherman. Bubble gum. *shudder*

nanuk - OH NO! *runs around flapping arms and shrieking* I have a teenager. She's bound to find out about him. It can only go downhill from here can't it?

I'd gladly help Mr. Blunt over the ocean.

I need 3 other people to help hold his legs and other arm though. People who can get a good swing up...

Oh please. Anything but Mr. Blunt. Okay, not anything... but not him, please. We have enough home-grown wankers as it is.

Oh. I left a comment here yesterday, but it appears to have been eaten.*

I can help out with getting a good swing on Mr Blunt.
Blunt, rope, tree.
Some assembly required.

* I blame the badgers.

Hmm. Comments have flown off into the ether on other occasions as well. Damned badgers.

Excellent Blunt disposal plan, BTW. Are batteries required?

Tee hee. Battery will be required.

My seven would all be obscure 80s bands you've never heard of. And Bigfoot and the Groincrushers.
